“While we don’t homeschool, we have a 7th grader who really struggles with math (says she hates it, etc.) and says she wishes she had art class all day. Our school system uses Springboard for math in middle school and most of what they are doing is above any math I had way back in high school. Her dad is great in math and tries to help her but they both end up frustrated with each other.
I really think our daughter might be a Visual (Spatial) Learner and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a computer based math program we can use to supplement Springboard. She spent over 4 hours studying for her first math exam of the year and ended up with a 55% on it. There are a lot of word problems that she has to sift through and then determine what math needs to be done.”
